【Profile】
He was born in Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture. He entered Tokyo University of the Arts after graduating from Hiroshima Johoku High School. He was awarded the「Ryohei Miyata Scholarship」in the 3rd year examination. He performed Weber's Bassoon Concerto with Kazufumi Yamashita, the conductor of Tokyo University of the Arts Philharmonia Orchestra. He graduated top of his class and was awarded the Acanthus music prize and Taito Mayor's prize. He was also recommended to join invitational concerts for new graduates. In addition, he performed at the 2020 Tokyo College of Music Graduation Concert (Imperial Palace East Garden Tokagakudo). He is a recipient of scholarships from Tokuji Munetsugu, Aoyama music foundation and Nakamura music. He is also a Kishokai Medical Corporation music scholarship and Tokuji Munetsugu study abroad scholarship student. He has studied bassoon under Hideki Tokuhisa, Koji Okazaki, Motoko Kawamura and Atsuko Hirohata. From October 2021, he entered graduate school under Prof. Dag Jensen (Hochschule für Musik und Theater München). He studied chamber music under Susumu Aoyagi, Masayuki Okamoto, and Yuki Sato. In August 2018, he attended Matthias Racz's master class in Switzerland, recommended as a bassoon representative, and performed at the final concert. In 2019, with the recommendation of Motoko Kawamura and Masayuki Okamoto, he performed with David Seidel, the principal bassoonist of the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra.

I am very excited to study abroad at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater München from autumn.
Of course I'm a little worried about having to contend with the Corona situation, however I don't want to be a prisoner to technique alone but would like to voraciously work on various things so that I can acquire even greater musicality.

The Maternity Concert 2019, produced by Bell-Net, was held on April 30, 2019 in the Concert Hall of the Aichi Prefectural Art Theater. It was attended by over 1,600 people, including expecting mothers and families bringing their children.
The program included a pre-concert for the children's enjoyment performed by Trio Cuna, and a performance by the Aichi Chamber Orchestra of all Mozart music, said to beneficial for antenatal training.
On April 6th, 2019, we have held the Classical Concert for Mommies and Pre-Mommies at the Health Future Expo 2019. In addition to a performance by our wind instrument club, the Bell Wind Orchestra, there was a concert enjoyable by children from age 0 by the all-female Trio Cuna, and an all Mozart concert performed by the Aichi Chamber Orchestra. A tremendous time was had by all the mothers, families, and their children.
The Maternity Concert 2018, produced by Bell-Net, was held at the MS & AD Shirakawa Hall on Wednesday, April 25th, 2018. It was attended by about 600 expecting mothers and their companions. The day's proceedings were shown on Tokai TV's evening news program "News One", as well as covered by Yahoo News.
We created the CD, "Maternity Mozart ～ An All Mozart Program for Mommy and Baby ～", a recording of all 16 pieces performed by the Aichi Chamber Orchestra at the Maternity Concert. This CD has been given as a special present to mothers giving birth at all Bell Net clinics starting on July 1st, 2018.
The Aichi Prefectural Wind Music Contest was held on Sunday, August 4th, 2019, at the Kota Civic Center's Sakura Hall.
As the "Bell Wind Orchestra", our wind instrument club received the silver prize in the Workplace/General category.

The 44th Shinshiro Music Festival was held in the grand hall of the Shinshiro Culture Center on Sunday, November 11th, 2018. Our wind instrument club performed as the "Bell Wind Orchestra".
